Terra Firma Chambers provided main sponsorship for the recent Rural Law Conference in Aberdeen and the Scottish Planning & Environmental (SPEL) Conference in Edinburgh. Both conferences were fully subscribed and featured a range of excellent presentations.
The Rural Law Conference was held at Aberdeen University on 1st and 2nd September and focused on Sustainable Rural Development. Terra Firma members Stuart Gale QC, Luise Locke and Robert Sutherland presented talks to the conference and fellow member Iain Maclean chaired one of the sessions.
The SPEL conference entitled ‘Changing Policy and Practice in a New Planning Era’ was hosted by Terra Firma at the Mackenzie Building in Edinburgh on 8th September. The conference featured talks by Terra Firma members Graham Dunlop and Maurice O’Carroll and was chaired by Terra Firma Chambers vice-Chairman, Douglas Armstrong QC.
Terra Firma Chambers is delighted to offer continuing support for both these events.
