Terra Firma Chambers has re-affirmed its ongoing commitment to strengthening links with law firms and direct access organisations throughout Scotland by announcing two seminar events this Autumn in Inverness and Ayr.

The event in Inverness will be chaired by Stuart Gale QC who will also present a paper exploring the relevance of the Bribery Act 2010 to everyday commercial life.  In addition, Mark Mohammed will deliver a Judicial Review update and James Findlay QC will review recent developments in Planning Law.  The event will be held on Thursday 18th October at the Glenmoriston Town House, Inverness.

The following week, Terra Firma will be back on the road, visiting the Fairfield House Hotel in Ayr on Thursday 25th October.  Mark Mohammed and James Findlay QC will again present updates on Judicial Review and Planning Law respectively with James also chairing the event.  In addition, Luise Locke will deliver a talk on the Bribery Act and Peter Grant-Hutchison will present a review of recent Employment case law and a consideration of proposed Government reforms.

There is no charge for attendance at either event and each has been accredited for 1.5 hours of CPD by the Faculty of Advocates.  Both events will be followed by a drinks reception.
