Terra Firma will be hosting seminars in Ayr and Dundee as part of a series of CPD events discussing the changing legal landscape in light of forthcoming reforms. Alasdair Sutherland, Advocate, will present a paper ‘Resolving Disputes in the Wake of Reform: In Court, Out of Court - and at what cost?’, and Denis Garrity, Advocate, will provide an update on substantive property law, relative to recent developments in contract law, commercial leases and renewables.
The first seminar will take place in the Fairfield House Hotel in Ayr on Wednesday 19th November 2014 and the second at the RSS Discovery Centre in Dundee on Tuesday 25th November 2014. Registration for both will commence at 4.30pm, with a seminar start time of 5pm, and will be followed by a drinks reception at 6pm.
The seminars, sponsored by Wesleyan, have been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 1 hour CPD each for its own members and are eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession.
