Terra Firma Chambers is delighted to announce that Fergus Thomson has joined the Stable with immediate effect.

Fergus originally called to the Bar in 2004 and returns following a number of years in private practice.

He is an experienced commercial lawyer, with particular expertise in banking, finance and insolvency work.  He has over 5 years’ experience as Junior Counsel, focusing on commercial litigation and contentious corporate, insolvency, property and professional negligence matters.  He has a long-standing interest in tax, pensions and trust law and in regulatory risk.

His prior experience at the Bar, in private practice and in-house has cemented his client-focused, result-driven approach. He understands the commercial pressures facing both clients and those instructing Counsel, and the vital importance of reliability, diligence and clear, timely communication.
