The Singapore Government established the ESI, a multi-disciplinary, autonomous research institute at the National University of Singapore (NUS)(www.esi.nus.edu.sg) to undertake policy research on energy economics, energy security, and the geopolitical and environmental impact of energy. The ESI is South East Asia’s first think-tank on energy issues. The ESI seeks to advance the understanding of local, regional and global energy issues through independent research, analyses and now with specialist professional seminar training.

The revolving 12 month programme begins in September 2015 and is aimed at industry professionals (commercial, managerial and legal) in Commercial & Legal Practice in the Energy Sector (specifically, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy and associated infrastructure from a commercial/legal non-contentious and contentious viewpoint). The programme will be delivered in Singapore, and in other parts of South East Asia, by Terra Firma Chambers, Hogan Lovells, Reed Smith, Shearman & Sterling, Holman Fenwick Willan, Calvetti Ferguson Houston, Gilson Gray, Stone Chambers, BCHW Global, HK Sii Kuala Lumpur and others.
