Terra Firma Chambers Heralded as 'the Premier Stable for Planning Work' in the Latest Edition of Legal 500

Terra Firma Chambers' expertise in its core practice areas of Planning, Property Commercial and Administrative Law has been recognised in the latest edition of the Legal 500 law directory.

Terra Firma members received 32 individual recommendations for work at the Scottish Bar with further recommendations for our dual-qualified members in respect of their practices at the London Bar.

Terra Firma is once again recognised as ‘the go-to stable for planning and environmental law matters’. Described as “‘the premier stable for planning work’, its members regularly feature in high-profile matters of a public interest, such as the Trump International Supreme Court appeal”. The stable is also recognised for its public law and administrative work and is acknowledged for its ‘well-known’ commercial litigation advocates and ‘great property practice’. Practice manager Emma Potter is described as ‘responsive and well organised’.

Director of Terra Firma Chambers David Logan said: ‘We are delighted to see more members of Terra Firma receiving recommendations in this year’s Legal 500 and the overall number of recommendations also rising from last year.  The stable is acknowledged as the leading set at the Scottish Bar for planning, environmental and licensing law, and it is also pleasing to be recognised for our members’ expertise in property law, another of our core areas of practice; and with so many additional recommendations for our members’ English practices,  Terra Firma remains the first-stop for cross-jurisdictional matters.’
