Scott Blair has become a member of the Association of Lawyers for Animal Welfare (ALAW).
ALAW is a UK wide charity which draws upon the expertise of lawyers who have an interest in protecting animals from harm by seeking to improve an understanding of the law as it relates to animal welfare and by raising issues of concern in this field. The organisation aims to secure a more comprehensive and effective legal framework for animals and better enforcement of existing animal protection laws.
Scott has a long-held interest in the support and promotion of animal welfare. He welcomes instructions in relation to all aspects of this area of work and animal related law more generally, including issues of reparation and professional negligence. He is recognised as a leading licensing counsel and has a particular interest in licensing law as it relates to animal welfare. Outside of his legal practice Scott is a keen equestrian and volunteers on a regular basis at an animal welfare charity.
More information on the association can be found at their website www.alaw.org.uk.
