Terra Firma Chambers’ Roddy MacLeod will be one of the speakers at the forthcoming Changes in Succession Planning seminar hosted by the Scottish Law Society in Dundee on Wednesday 29th March 2017.

The law of succession in Scotland is one of the most fundamental bodies of law, potentially affecting the lives of every citizen. The new Succession (Scotland) Act 2016 came into force on 4 March 2016 with many provisions introduced and some yet to come into effect.

Roddy’s talk, entitled Changes in force: Succession Act (Scotland) 2016, will provide practical guidance on the changes and consider the implications on professional practice of the new Act.
