Terra Firma Chambers’ Dame Elish Angiolini DBE QC has been appointed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) as Chair of their Discipline Board.

The Discipline Board is the executive board established by council for setting policy and procedure relating to the disciplinary functions of ICAS, including the framework for ICAS discipline and appeal tribunals, and the publicity of decisions.

Dame Elish said: “ICAS is an exemplary educator, examiner, regulator and thought leader.  I look forward to contributing to the success of another renowned educational establishment, and supporting the important work carried out by the members of the Discipline Panel, the Appeal Panel and the Independent Examiner.”
