Roddy McIlvride QC has been appointed to the Arbitrators Panel of Sport Resolutions (UK).

Sport Resolutions is the independent, not-for-profit, dispute resolution service for sport in the United Kingdom.  Established to provide an expert, speedy and cost effective alternative to internal appeals processes and court-based litigation,   they provide sport specific arbitration and mediation services to organisations such as the Premier League, the FA, RFU, ECB, UK Sport, Sport England and the LTA.  They also operate the National Anti-Doping Panel (NADP) and National Safeguarding Panel (NSP).

In addition, Sports Resolutions has recently been written in to certain policies of sportscotland, including being the referral body for any appeals or challenges to sportscotland funding decisions.

Roddy joins a nationwide panel of around 130 lawyers and other professionals; his appointment commencing with immediate effect.
