Terra Firma Chambers, in association with the University of Edinburgh, are delighted to host a talk by Dr Barbara Lauriat, who will discuss the extraordinary life of Robert Andrew Macfie (1811-1893) and his views on IP, exploring the ways in which his criticisms might be applied to our contemporary IP regime.
The talk will take place on Monday 2nd October 2017, in Parliament House, and will be followed by a drinks reception. The event has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 1 hour CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession.
