Team Terra Firma, comprising Andrew Bowen QC, Graham Dunlop, Roddy MacLeod and clerks Emma Potter and Andrew Veitch joined over 8,000 people sleeping rough in Princes Street Gardens to raise money for Social Bite’s mission to eradicate homelessness in Scotland. The event has already raised £3.6m with Team TFC managing to reach their fundraising target of £3,000.
Roddy Macleod said ‘Leaving the Gardens at 6am on Sunday morning, the team reflected on the fact that we were all heading back to our families and loved ones, to homes, warmth, food etc; things we all take for granted. Social Bite’s campaign highlights that these norms are outwith the reach of some who sleep rough or are otherwise homeless.’
