Terra Firma Chambers are delighted to provide sponsorship for the University of Aberdeen Mooting Society’s inaugural ‘Approaching the Bar’ Conference & Networking Event which will be held at the Kings College Conference Centre, Aberdeen University on Saturday 26th October 2019.

While many Law Societies hold networking events to raise awareness of specific legal career opportunities and facilitate interaction between professionals and students, this is the first event of its kind designed specifically for students interested in pursuing litigation as a career.

With sponsorship and support from the Faculty of Advocates, the Law Society of Scotland and the Court of Session, the conference will feature talks from a number of experienced and high profile practitioners.  The Lord President of the Court of Session, Lord Carloway will formally open the event and provide the keynote address.
