The Edinburgh Tax Network, in conjunction with CIOT and Terra Firma Chambers, will present a webinar on ‘Making Tax Digital’ at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, Edinburgh on Thursday 17th March 2022, from 1pm to 2.15pm.

Govinder joined HMRC and the Making Tax Digital Programme working on the Customer Readiness and External Stakeholder Team (CREST) in 2020. Having worked as an External Stakeholder manager on the Universal Credit Programme, she brought her experience to HMRC and leads on the Business and Additional Needs Customer strands. Through her external stakeholder engagements, she continues in developing an understanding of the needs of businesses customers in preparing for the transition to MTD as well as those who require extra support in joining. Govinder chairs a number of HMRC led forums bringing the customer perspective into the development of MTD services and processes.
Currently she is working on developing the MTD ITSA communication strategies and delivery plans to prepare and inform businesses of upcoming MTD mandation and the requirements needed to meet their Tax obligations.
The webinar has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 1¼ hour of practice development CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession.
