Terra Firma Chambers’ Licensing Seminar was held at The Mackenzie Building, Edinburgh on Monday 30th January 2023.

The event was chaired by Douglas Armstrong KC and featured talks by fellow TFC members Denis Edwards and Scott Blair.  Denis presented a paper which examined the significance of location in licensing applications while Scott’s talk focused on SEV legislation and the attendant licensing law arguments, including Public Sector Equality Duty and indirect discrimination, and ECHR and EU law considerations.
