The conference will consider some of the key developments across the private client sector and recent developments in the law.  Terra Firma’s Roddy MacLeod will present a case law update looking at some of the most interesting recent trust and executry decisions.

Oliver Marre of 5 Stone Buildings will present a paper discussing “Risk & Reward: What the Westminster government can do about tax and what they should do”; Alan Barr of Brodies will provide an Annual Scottish/devolved tax round up and Yvonne Evans of The University of Dundee will present on Succession Law.  The event will be chaired by Susie Tweedie of Shepherd and Wedderburn.

The conference has been accredited by the Law Society of Scotland for 3 hours of CPD.
