Terra Firma Chambers, are delighted to announce their sponsorship of a conference on Environmental Justice, Human Rights and Environmental Law.  The conference is being jointly organised by the Centre for the Study of Human Rights Law at the University of Strathclyde, and the Environmental Law Centre Scotland in the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on Monday 2nd November 2009.  The conference will examine the existing and potential scope for environmental law to be influenced by the rights agenda and will be of interest to lawyers in both private practice and public authorities, policy makers, planners, non-governmental organisations and academics and anyone with an interest in human rights law or environmental law.
