Steven Walker of Terra Firma Chambers is to present a paper titled ‘The Rennaisance of Scottish International Arbitration’ as part of an international conference to welcome the commencement of the new Arbitration (Scotland) Act 2010. 'The Arbitration (Scotland) Act 2010: A New Beginning' conference is being hosted by The University of Edinburgh in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Faculty of Advocates, The Law Society of Scotland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

This full day course will be presented by some of the leading practitioners in Scotland and worldwide and covers everything you need to know about the new Act.  It will be held on Wednesday 23 June 2010 at the Playfair Library, University of Edinburgh and will be followed by a drinks reception.
