TrustBar’s Annual Aberdeen Seminar will take place in the Society of Advocates on the afternoon of 17th June 2015, with talks from two experienced experts in the area of taxation and trust and executry litigation, on topics which remain of key importance to all concerned with wills and private client work. Derek Francis, Advocate, Barrister and Chartered Tax Advisor, will present a paper entitled “Healing that Trust: Will Trust & its unwanted Tax Consequences” and Gordon Watt, Advocate and Chartered Tax Advisor, will speak on “Instruments of Variation”. The talks should hold interest for all private client, litigation and tax practitioners in this area.

This event in part of TrustBar’s commitment to the promotion of the expertise of advocates in all areas concerning fiduciary relationships including directorship, partnership, agency, executors and trustees. It has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 1 hour CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society of Scotland for the solicitor branch of the profession.
