The Edinburgh Tax Network, in conjunction with Terra Firma Chambers, will present a seminar entitled ‘Pensions Update for Tax Professionals’ on Thursday 30th June 2016 at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, Edinburgh.

At this event, Martyn Shaw of MacRoberts, will discuss Pensions Automatic Enrolment, Recent Budget and VAT and Pension Schemes. Martyn heads MacRoberts’ Pensions Group. He has more 18 years’ experience advising on pensions law and regulation.  Martyn currently provides legal advice to a number of wellknown private and listed companies and to the trustees of their pension schemes, as well as to a wide range of public sector, educational and not-for-profit bodies.

Registration will commence at 12.30pm with the seminar starting at 1pm.  It has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 1 hour CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession.
