The Trusts, Fiduciaries and Executries Bar Group (TrustBar) are delighted to announce details of their annual Aberdeen seminar, which will be held on 27th June 2017, at the Royal Northern and University Club.

The event will feature three talks: the first by Arnot Manderson Advocates’ David Small on the Residence Nil-rate Band, followed by Terra Firma Chambers’ Luise Locke on Potential Conflict in Appointment as Trustee and Liferentor and, to conclude, Derek Francis, also of Terra Firma, will present a talk entitled “Things which go wrong with Trust Instruments and how to fix them”.

TrustBar promotes the expertise of advocates in all areas concerning fiduciary relationships including directorship, partnership, agency, executors and trustees.

The seminar has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 1 hour CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society of Scotland for the solicitor branch of the profession. The seminar will be followed by drinks and canapés and the cost for attendance is £25 per delegate.
