The Edinburgh Tax Network, in conjunction with Terra Firma Chambers, will present a seminar entitled “Construction Industry VAT – an Update: including Reverse Charge on Construction Services (Goods?)?” on Thursday 25th July 2019 at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, Edinburgh. The speaker will be Nigel Roberts ATT.
Nigel heads Johnston Carmichael’s VAT and indirect taxes team. With over 30 years’ experience, Nigel started his career with HMRC followed by a number of senior roles in “Big 4”advisory firms and a spell as Head of VAT and operational taxes at a global financial services group. This breadth of experience allows him to bring a broad perspective on VAT matters to all his clients.
Registration will commence at 12.30pm with the seminar starting at 1pm. It has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 1 hour CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession.
