The Edinburgh Tax Network, in conjunction with Terra Firma Chambers, will be presenting a seminar entitled Discovery Assessments: Does Anything New Need To Be Discovered? If So, What? on Thursday 13th September 2012 at the Mackenzie Building, Edinburgh. At this seminar Terra Firma’s Derek Francis will explore the tension between the taxpayer’s right to finality and HMRC’s rights to information, alongside a consideration of recent decisions in this area.
Registration will commence at 12.30pm. The seminar will start at 1pm and has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 1 hour CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession.
