Since the introduction of the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010 several important issues concerning marine planning and licensing have arisen. Terra Firma Chambers, with sponsorship from Wesleyan for Lawyers, is hosting two seminars which will explore some of these issues.
The first of these will be held on Thursday 7th March at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, High Street, Edinburgh and will feature talks by Terra Firma members James Findlay and Denis Edwards. The seminar will commence with registration, tea and coffee from 4.30pm with the seminar starting at 5pm. There is a modest charge of £30 per delegate for attendance. Numbers are limited and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. This seminar will be followed by a drinks reception at 7pm.
This seminar has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing two hours CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society of Scotland for the solicitor branch of the profession.
