Terra Firma Chambers is to host a full-day conference specifically designed to cover a range of issues relating to Property Law. The conference will be chaired by J. Gordon Reid QC and will feature a series of talks on a range of topics covering agricultural holdings; break notices and irritancy; the Land Court; dilapidations; tenant insolvency; land & buildings transaction tax; assignation of leases & reasonableness and the Land Reform (Scotland) Act.
The conference will be held on Thursday 18 April 2013, at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, High Street, Edinburgh and will be followed by a drinks reception sponsored by Wesleyan for Lawyers. The conference has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 4.5 hours CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession. There will be a modest fee for attendance of £75 per delegate.
