The Edinburgh Tax Network sponsored by Terra Firma Chambers and Lusona will be presenting a seminar focusing on Business Property Relief on Holiday Lets on Tuesday 18th June 2013 at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, Edinburgh.

At this seminar Derek Francis of Terra Firma Chambers will present a paper entitled BPR on Holiday Letting after Pawson: Wholly or Mainly Making or Holding Investments?  Alexandra Docherty, Director of Tax at Johnston Carmichael will then present a paper entitled Practical tips on preserving BPR on the holiday let and an overview of what the forthcoming changes to the treatment of IHT liabilities means for our clients.

The seminar has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing one hour CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession.

Registration, tea and coffee will commence at 12.30pm with the seminar starting at 1pm.  There is no charge for attendance but prior booking is necessary.
